Exclusive Interview with Joseph James Nantomah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph James Nantomah.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My name is Joseph James Nantomah, I am a project management consultant, life coach, real estate investor, and serial entrepreneur. I moved from Africa to the United States in 2016 and have built 13 businesses from scratch. I also set up my Non-profit foundation called Prosperity for Africa which I used to feed 25,000 Africans in Ghana, Nigeria, and Uganda during the covid 19 pandemic.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

My life has been challenging since childhood. My mom left when I was two and I had to grow up with an abusive stepmom. I started doing business hawking and selling items on the street after school in Africa for my stepmom. This in America would be considered child abuse, but while doing all of these I was building character and skills. I never allowed it to put me down. I learned from childhood that it’s not what happens to you that is important but how you react to it. Moving to America was another big challenge as I had no support system and no friends or family to rely on. I remember after filing my papers to live in the United States, I asked my attorney what benefits I had and he said “nothing” until my papers were approved. Then he added “maybe a library card.” I took his advice and went to the library, I got a library card and started reading about successful people in the United States. I found out what they all had in common was real estate. Then and there I decided to become a real estate investor. The rest has been a story of success.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am a real estate investor, a multiple award-winning executive life coach, and serial entrepreneur. In the last two years I have successfully mentored over one million business persons through my online platforms on YouTube, Instagram, zoom classes etc. I have also been honored by Marquis who’s an American with Distinguished Humanitarian Awards. I was also recently honored by Strathmore’s for exemplary leadership. The world is filled with people who talk without taking action. I have overcome poverty by coming from the slums of Africa and building a successful life for myself and my family. I am willing to help as many people who are willing to learn how I made it happen for myself.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

It’s simple: Make up your mind, find a mentor who is already successful in your field, and learn from them. And finally, take massive actions.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success means different things for different people. True success for me is accomplishing your immediate goals and having the ability/mindset to set bigger ones.

What’s next for you?

To help as many people as possible. As an African, I had the opportunity to meet the vice president Mike Pence in 2018. This was a big deal for me. He sold me my American dream. He said, “Joseph you will be successful.” This is the American dream. You come to America, work hard, and always give back. I will never stop giving back.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more.

You can connect with me via my website, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, or through my email.
